Bought 2 bricks and was hooked after a few sticks..... Love CAO L'Anniversaire petites, but they have met their match. Leon Jimenes Maduritos are smooth start to finish. Give em a shot, you won't be dissappointed less

I honestly believe buying a box of the Jimenes Robusto smokes was the best purchase I have ever made without some prior knowledge of what I was going to be receiving. The burn, construction and draw has been just damn near perfect on everyone I have smoked. What I would call a mild smoke, or possibly mild to medium, the taste is superb. They burn evenly and slowly, and I've yet to have to relight one. I'll definitely be seeking these out in the future, and could recommend them without reservation. less

Very rich & creamy, with spice and hints of milk chocolate on the palate. A very enjoyable after dinner smoke. Burn, draw and flavor is awesome, with billows of thick smoke. Never had to relight it. Smoked it to the nub. Will have to add this to my humidor as a regular. I give it a 9 across the board. less

Impressive in every respect: appearance, aroma, flavour, draw, the perfect burn and the white & firm ash. The cigar was almost finished and the ash was on. And this Toro is a gigante...

"Twenty minutes worth"
An unimpressive looking cross between a cigar... more
An unimpressive looking cross between a cigarillo and a demi-tasse. The light brown maduro wrapper is lightly veined and consistent in color from one Madurito to the next. The ash is light grey and fairly firm, the burn is consistent if a little uneven at times. They have a tendency to get a little soft and loose towards the end. The taste is exceptional for a small cigar. Notes of coffee and cocoa dominate a fairly complex array of flavours for a small cigar. A real bargain for well under a dollar a stick if you like to keep twenty minute smokes available. less

I'm skeptical about Cigar Aficionado's reviews, but they do make me try new cigars. This smoke is perhaps the surprise of the year for me. Rich, with a spicy, sweet wood flavor, I couldn't put it down, really reminded me of a Cuban Partagas, truly a cigar you want to try. less
