I just bought another 6 tins! This is a beautiful Full side of medium smoke with a unique chocolate aroma and lavishly smooth and rich flavour. Although tight rolled, only had a couple so far but seems to burn fantastically. Rich and smooth flavor, I love it. I own many Cubans, I think I like this as much as Cuban Cohiba Maduro 5 in same size (different taste obviously). It looks and feels almost identical. I probably like Bolivar Cuban better in the same size for more robust Cuban flavor, but this is a unique and well made premium cigar for a quick smoke. Does not make you feel like you smoked a small cigar, so a good larger cigar replacement! Rich and copious smoke, 0 harshness. I can`t imagine a better small but Real cigar (versus minis or joyitas or dried cigarillos) than this, outside of Cuba. First class for the price. less

As a Brit, I've spent the last 20 years smoking Cubans because there's not much else available in the UK. What a tragedy that is because here is a cigar that knocks just about every Cuban cigar I have ever smoked into a cocked hat. Only the truly sublime Cohiba Siglo V betters the Partagas Black in my view, and that really is saying something because the Cohiba is a work of fine art. The Partagas is rich, astonishingly so in fact, delivering a riot of flavour from start to finish. Leather and spice are strongly in evidence here, as are coffee and a wonderfully earthy bite. The smoke is dark blue and thick, delivering the finest of aroma. Construction is impeccable, delivering a cigar of great weight and substance. Value for money is, frankly, beyond belief. If you love a fuller, yet amazingly smooth, flavour with real panache, this is the cigar for you. Undoubtedly my cigar of choice henceforth on all but the most special of occasions, when the Siglo V will still make a rare appearance. less

This cigar smokes very well, has a nice burn, good construction, smells and taste really good. To me this is an after dinner cigar because it's so strong. I smoked one after a light lunch and it gave me a headache, that didn't stop me from finishing it though. less

The owner of my local smoke shop REALY recommended I buy this smoke. I had high expectations but they soon fell short. Inspection was very nice with minimal veins, just enough to keep it from being perfect. The smell was awesome and once I punched the tip, it went down hill from there. The draw was extremely loose, only to find out that there was a stem poking through the wrap right by the band which was undetected on initial inspection. I tried to slip the band over the hole but it only helped a little bit. Every puff had to be done it 3's to get a god amount of smoke. Once I got it, the aroma was nice and a bit spicy. All of this I could contribute to "just getting a bad stick". Can't blame the whole line right?, well I can when the burn was so bad that it was a constant battle of touch-ups from start to finish and the ash, although strong at the core, flowered constantly just enough to flake small ash all over my lap. Sorry guys, I know this smoke got a great rating, but it was just too much of a hassle for me when compared to smoke of equal size and price. I won't be trying this one again. less

If you really like madurosm this is one not to be missed. It is reasonably priced, well constructed and even looks great with a shiney, almost black wrapper. It's loaded with flavor with hints of chocolate and leather. I'm surprised it doesn't have a 90 rating. less

I bought a box of this little cigars, and i was happy with them, they had good construction, smooth aroma, burn even, but half away into the cigar they would go off. But after two months in my humidor they burn all the way till the nub, and in my opinion a very good little cigar, and i would definately buy them again. less
