Only 3,000 Boxes of Luxury Torpedo Made
MIAMI, FL – Plasencia Cigars has announced the release of the limited edition The Year of the Dragon cigar. This is the fourth limited-edition release from Plasencia that commemorates the Chinese New Year. Offered in just one size, a 6½” x 54 Torpedo, only 3,000 boxes were produced for global distribution.
Chinese New Year 2024 begins on Saturday, February 10. The Dragon, occupies the fifth position in the Chinese zodiac and symbolizes good luck, honor, strength, and health. Boasting red bands and boxes, with The Year of The Dragon cigar Plasencia has created a blend that represents their family’s gift for cigar making, while also honoring Chinese culture.
The Year of the Dragon is a puro blended with tobaccos from several of Plasencia’s Nicaragua estate farms. Medium-bodied and flawlessly handcrafted, the robust blend was created to match the redeeming features of the dragon. The result is a bold cigar that is smooth and refined complemented by notes of pepper and earth.
