MIAMI, FLORIDA – At this summer’s ProCigar trade show, E.P. Carrillo announced that the Pledge Lonsdale Limitada will be joining the line that earned them the #1 Rated Cigar of 2020. Presented in a limited run of only 1,500 20-count boxes, the 6½”x43 vitola is rolled to a smaller ring gauge by request from EPC cigar smokers themselves.
Box pressed in a U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, an Ecuador binder and Nicaraguan fillers complete the full-bodied blend. The result is a rich, complex cigar with plenty of zest, a splash of spice, and a savory aromatic profile.
E.P. Carrillo Cigars are constantly looking for new ways to improve their cigars. To that end they listened carefully to opinions from their community of consumers and retailers. Asking what they were looking for in a cigar and how they could make that happen, EPC’s survey feedback revealed that the majority wanted a more flavorful, smaller ring gauge cigar.
“We took that feedback and went back to the drawing board,” said EPC founder, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. “Thanks to our community, our newest creation is made with their collective vision. The Pledge Lonsdale Limitada is a direct testament to the outstanding insight we received.”
