Cigar News: Plasencia Now Shipping Cosecha 151 Selection
Honduran Puro Boasts Wrapper Harvested in 2016
Miami, Florida – Earlier this month, Plasencia Cigars, announced that the Cosecha 151 was shipping to retailers. Presented at the 2023 PCA convention this past July, The Cosecha 151 is now the third installment in the Cosecha series.
Like previous Plasencia Cosecha releases, Cosecha 151 is named for the 151st tobacco harvest (cosecha in Spanish), from Plasencia’s Honduran farms in 2016. In other words, the 151 wrapper, a lower priming leaf than the wrapper used on the Cosecha 149, already had seven years of aging prior to rolling. The core blend for this Honduran puro is also sourced from Plasencia’s vast tobacco library. Medium to full in body, the cigar issues creamy and earthy flavor notes along with a delicately sweetened touch of cocoa.
Cosecha 151 cigars are presented in 10 count boxes in the following three vitolas:
La Música (Robusto) 5 x 50, MSRP: $13.50/cigar
La Tradición (Toro) 5 7/8 x 54, MSRP: $16.00/cigar
San Diego (Corona Gorda) 5 ¾ x 46, MSRP: $13.30/cigar
