CA Report: Top New Cigars & Accessories (June 8 2020)

We’re just a couple of short weeks away from the official start of summer. And we’ve already gotten a big head start on smoking season. You may have noticed that Top New Cigars has been a little light on…well…new cigars in recent weeks. Much of that is due to COVID-19 and how it’s disrupted our and virtually every industry. So for now, we’ve expanded the TNC series to include accessories. This week’s Top New edition is a deep look into Jet Line’s latest lighter arrivals available at Famous. They range from budget-conscious burners to executive-class elegance.

Jet Line’s accessories are on a level playing field of reliability when comparing them to household names like Colibri or Xikar, and they have their own lifetime warranty to back it up.

Jet Line Avalanche

Avalanche isn’t the first name I’d choose for a lighter, but it is cool, so give ‘em a point for that. Technically, it’s a table lighter, but still on the smaller end, so it won’t weigh you down if you bring it along. It’s got four powerful jets that glow bright red – making it easier to see in brighter settings – for a conversation piece at night. Additionally, Avalanche has an onboard punch cutter, so this all-in-one accessory is a must-have for anyone’s smoking spot.

Jet Line Luxe

If you liked the look of the Avalanche, but passed on it due to its size, the sleeker Jet Line Luxe offers the same design in pocket-friendly dimensions. They’ve traded triple torches for dual, which means you’ll get better fuel economy and a more precise burn for smaller ring-gauge cigars. Additional features include a fuel level window, a single-action design, and a variety of finish options. Luxe is a solid option to consider for your next lighter buy.

Jet Line Bolero

We’ve reviewed the Bolero before, but now it comes in a yellow finish that is somehow even more striking. With its eye-popping sci-fi design and ergonomic ignition button, this triple-torch lighter boasts a perfect harmony of looks and reliability. Toss in a fuel window, and a handy pop-out punch, and the Bolero’s clearly a worthy investment for a middle-of the road price. In my opinion, this is the best-looking lighter on the market right now, and it’s sure to turn some heads once we’re back at the cigar lounge.

Jet Line Phantom

If you’re looking for a lighter to ride shotgun along to the beach and other day trips this summer, the Jet Line Phantom brings a long list of features for very short money. Features like an oversized flame adjustment wheel, a clear-view fuel tank, popular color options, and your choice of dual or triple flame formats (for the same price). The Phantom is price conscious enough to serve as a backup and reliable enough to be your primary. And that’s about as close to perfection as you’re going to get!

Jet Line Quad Table Torch Lighter

When was the last time you saw a leather lighter? Seriously…this is the kind of thing you’d expect to come standard in a Porsche! Available in three color options, the Jet Line Quad Table lighter is just as heavy-duty as it is beautiful. It features a truck-sized fuel tank…which it will need for those four thirsty in-line torches. They’ll light even the largest ring-gauge cigars quickly and efficiently. This is luxury at its finest, and a Jet Line lighter that will stand as the centerpiece of your collection for years to come.
