Not sure if I would give these a 97; but, they are a very good, full strengthed, cigar. I particularly liked the shape and taste. The burn was ok and the cigar smoked very cool for being so short, which was a good thing. Draw seems to vary from cigar to cigar, but nothing drastic, or to be concerned about. The label is sharp, but it is so big you have to remove it about halfway through the smoke or it will catch fire. While I really liked the Maduro Series G, I doubt I'll buy more, as I can't justify a buck an inch. If you are wealthy and want a great little cigar, with a little time to smoke, then this is a must try. less

The burn was almost perfect. The draw was very good. The appearance was great. The taste was superb. The consistency and construction were perfect. Overall, an absolutely great cigar. I'm adding this one to my must have list. Can't beat the price. less

With flavor that is, let it sit at least a month after you get it though. Out of the package a hint of ammonia, a month later, rich creamy, lots of tasty smoke.Burns long too, about an hour at least.Leave it to Oliva. They could wrap dog poo in A maduro leaf slap a band on it and somehow make it taste good. less

I only have smoked one of these cigars, but it was very enjoyable and it is a great smoke especially in the winter months, i always have smoked the Padron Anniversary and that is it!! Well i have changed my mine, I will be smoking these along with Padrons, but for the price you cant beat this cigar, it has a very light draw and burns evenly and no bitter taste toward the end. less

Bought a box and have smoked a few. Have not smoked one I didn't like. First one out of the box was tasty and the longer they sit in the humidor, the better they taste. The flavor is creamy with hints of cocoa and coffee. A great every day smoke! less

Smoked many top brands over the last 6 months trying to find that perfect cigar..Found 2..Oliva O and Oliva G maduro..both with great flavor, smell, draw, smoke volume, burn, PRICE..cigars that i want to smoke to the nub everytime i light one..The O is a little spicier and the G slightly less spicey but smoother..who could ask for more.. less
