Azteca cigars are Gran Habano's first Maduro release. According to George Rico, It's actually a double maduro. Both the San Andres wrapper and binder are extra-fermented naturally, without sweating or other artificial means. Using Nicaraguan and Panamanian long-fillers for the core, Rico adds, Our Azteca line exemplifies that 'full flavor,' in contrast to 'full body,' means a harmonious smoke with complexity, depth, smoothness, and individual nuances. A MUST-SMOKE for Maduro hounds!

Nice, easy going cigar with initially sweet, creamy smoke - but not particularly memorable. There are some astounding sticks available at this price point, as well as plenty of crap. This falls in the middle. At $70-80 a box it would be a keeper.less

The only good thing about this cigar is the box...rule of thumb, cool box crappy cigar. These taste worse than the ones I've left in the ash try for several days. The burn rate is poor and the ash looks like ash one gets when burning rolled up news paper not a fine gray ash of a good cigar. Stay away from these guys I'm sending mine back. less
Rating Our Cigars When viewing the page for a specific box or bundle of cigars, you'll notice a "Customer Ratings" section below the Description/Reviews section. This is your chance to rate the cigar according to six criteria: Burn, Consistency, Draw, Appearance, Taste, and Construction.
How well did this cigar burn?
Do these cigars perform consistently?
Was the draw good? Too loose or tight?
How did the cigar look?
How was the flavor and aroma of the cigar?
How well was the cigar rolled?
Rate the cigar from one to ten (Poor to Excellent) by clicking the bar at the appropriate number. Once you've selected a rating for all six categories, click "Submit Your Ratings." If you submit more than one rating per cigar, your latest rating will overwrite your previous rating.
