The bee’s knees you say? Black Label Works Killer Bee cigars are some feisty little fellas. These full-bodied Nicaraguan premiums, in a peppy petite corona and relentless Robusto, are one of the first original blends to come out of Black Works Studio. Where cigars are art, this bee takes the pot with a signature linear cap, using stripes of natural tobacco to make bee-stripes, over a savory Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper and fiery Nicaraguan binder and filler. This is a rich bold cigar that doles out loads of smokeThe flavor profile to me had notes of white and black pepper, espresso, brown sugar, and woodIt s excellently constructed with a sharp even burn and a perfect draw
These have a great appearance, but the flavors of these are kind of same old, same old. A little peppery, nutty, woody, a touch of earth and coffee and an occasional hint of dark chocolate. OK smoke but nothing spectacular, good smoke output even with a little snug draw for my tastes and it was quite a slow burn.
