As his palate developed he graduated from El Cheapos to smoking “a lot of Plasencia.” He eventually met Nestor Sr., and Nestor Andrés who invited him to visit their operation in Nicaragua. The Plasencias introduced Ed to the entire cigar making and blending process from seed to smoke and played a big role in helping him create his brand. Not surprisingly, ER Fine Cigars are made in Plasencia’s Catredal factory in Estelí. So, ER aren’t your typical celebrity cigars—they're an aficionado's dream come to life.
