As Espinosa Cigars founder, Erik Espinosa says, "Our cigars are as unique as we are," and that's certainly true of Murcielago cigars. Pronounced, mercy-A-la-go, which is Spanish for "bat" (the kind that flies), Murcielago is the cigar closest to Erik's heart. Blended in collaboration with good friend AJ Fernandez, they faithfully resurrected the essence and flavor profile of this Espinosa classic. Offered in three vitolas, Murcielago is a box pressed cigar with a hearty mix of Nicaraguan binder and fillers capped in a dark, savory Mexican San Andrés wrapper. The result is a well-balanced, full-bodied smoke with flavors of earth, cocoa, sweet spices, and a smack of pepper on the finish. If you like Erik's 601, Mi Barrio, and similar cigars, you'll go bats for Murcielago. Add some to your cart today.
Man a big thank you to Eric Espinosa for blending and creating this awesome stick... I have not gone wrong with any paring I have made when smoking this cigar. Always a smooth draw from a perfectly rolled cigar. I prefer this in the morning with a good dark roasted French press cup of Joe as I am sure you would too.. This blend for sure is one my humi will never run out of thanks to Eric and Famous!!!!
Full bodied flavorful cigar. Thanks high on my list.
If you are looking for a good full body Cigars this is it. Very consistent power is a 8/9 . Famous takes great care of the cigars beautiful dark wrap .
Excellent on my pallet,a smaller ring size allows you to taste the fine wrapper!!
I have rated this cigar 92% in my private statistics. Consistent taste, even burn and subtle nuances in flavors. This is an excellent smoke, well worth trying! Mind you, it is a big one so set aside 90-100 minutes.
All aspects were VERY NICE. Burn, Flavor, Draw all VERY GOOD. Would recommend and will buy more for myself.
I tried this cigar last night. One of the best new smokes I have had in a while. Strong but smooth all the way to the butt. It did not get hot near the tip like most cigars. So, I bought a box. If you like full and smooth cigars. This cigar is for you!
This has to be the worst cigar I ve tasted so far. I had those rest for a few months before smoking one. The taste was awful. I got a foul black licorice with an even worse aftertaste. Definitely not my cup of tea. To each it s own. Construction and burn were great, though. Now what to do with the four remaining...
