“Patience and a never-ending drive to craft the world’s most exceptional cigars are deeply rooted in the 10 year history of Liga Privada,” say the good folks behind the Liga Privada H99 cigars selection. For this line, the H99 blend boasts a unique hybrid Corojo capa grown in the heart of the Connecticut River Valley. It covers a spicy Mexican San Andrés Otapan Negro Último Corte binder followed by a perfect pairing of fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras.
“We started the process of fermenting Connecticut Corojo alongside Connecticut Criollo tobacco at the factory,” says DE Master Blender, Willy Herrera. “The team and I conjured up numerous blends but ultimately, we selected the blend featuring the Otapan Negro Ultimo Corte capote for its spiciness that pairs with the sweetness of corojo.”
Designed for smokers with more than a fair amount of experience, the H99 showcases a full-bodied counterpoint between sweet-spicy tobaccos and earthy elements for a luxurious smoke that “fully reveals itself in an epic finish.”
