These exquisite boutique cigars are the innovation of Maya Selva, a savvy entrepreneur born of Honduran parents in Auvergne, France. Being based in Europe, Maya's challenge was to convince European cigar smokers that there was an alternative to Cuban cigars; namely her cigars, which are blended with Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Having launched her Flor de Selva cigars in 1995, it took some doing, but the success of these outstanding cigars in Europe, and now in the United States, is a fitting tribute to the values that are Maya Selva Cigars' hallmark: strict quality control, and a respect for the land and the people of Honduras.
