Thanks so much for the complete ( or almost complete) review of the Newman blends! As always even though I’m a somewhat “seasoned” cigar smoker I have learned a lot about brands and “who really makes/ rolls them”! I will try some of these on my next order from Famous Smoke Shop! Thanks again!
Thanks, Chris! We appreciate you taking a look at it. Drop a comment once you’ve tried to let us know what you think!
Great non-judgemental, thorough review of their line. Especially interested in the reviews of the machine-made cigars, very rarely seen these, certainly would never see them in C. Afficiando. For once, a recommendation for a good fishing’ cigar. Thank you
Hi Christopher –
Thanks for the kudos on the JC Newman Guide. We don’t normally review machine-made cigars, true. That’s because they are not “premium” class cigars, which most of our followers smoke. That said, I’m not opposed to it. If you’re looking for a good machine-made fishing cigar, you might want to take a look at the Parodis from Toscano, or some of the other Toscano or Avanti selections. They’re well made and have a fire-cured taste. Or, try the Principes from La Aurora. Many are flavored, too. In the premium dept. try Asylum Insidious. Mellow and tasty. More size selection and super affordable, too. G-
I enjoy the Factory Throwout Sweet 99 everyday while walking the dog. The dog likes his longer walks as much as I enjoy this as an every day smoke. I have had several positive comments from passerbyers about the aroma. The Brickhouse Double Connecticut is a great special cigar for me. As my budget is light, but I enjoy being able to smoke these fine cigars while feeling patriotic as well.
