Cigar News: Plasencia 1865 Now Shipping Alma Del Fuego Cortez Cigar

New Limited Production Figurado Will Highlight Ometepe Tobacco

Plasencia 1865 Cigars has announced that the Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Cortez cigar that was made exclusively for the Tobacconist Association of America (TAA) convention—a first for the cigar maker—is now shipping to retailers nationwide. The Cortez is built upon the very same Plasencia Alma Del Fuego cigar blend that earned the #13 slot for Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2019. This TAA version of the Alma Del Fuego will be a limited production cigar handcrafted to a 5.7” x 56 Figurado.

As they have done since the company was founded in 1865, Plasencia has sourced only the finest tobacco for the Alma del Fuego Cortez. That practice is also evidenced in this exclusive blend that issues a full-bodied smoke with “bold and fiery notes.”
