Cigar News: Slaughterhouse The Operator Cigar Activated for Duty

Limited Release from Ventura Cigar Benefits Operation: Cigars For Warriors

MOORPARK, CA – In collaboration with Operation: Cigars for Warriors, Ventura Cigar Company has announced a May launch for a new limited edition cigar, Slaughterhouse: The Operator. The 6”x50 vitola is blended entirely with extra-long-aged Nicaraguan tobaccos and presented in bundles of ten cigars. Each bundle includes a postcard about the Cigar For Warriors mission, plus a limited-edition decal featuring The Operator artwork. All profits from the sales of The Operator will benefit Cigars for Warriors.

“Cigars for Warriors is a really special organization,” said Benjamin Winokur, Ventura Cigar Company Brand Manager at Kretek. “The work they do organizing, collecting, and shipping donations to our troops doesn’t go unrecognized. When the opportunity to collaborate presented itself – it was a no-brainer.”

Produced by Plasencia cigars in Nicaragua, The Operator is medium in body and slightly more complex than the original Slaughterhouse leading with bold flavors then transitioning to a smooth, creamy finish.

“We are elated to be working with Kretek and their many subsidiaries,” said Storm Boen, Chairman of the CFW Board of Directors. “I have personally enjoyed being part of designing the logo and packaging. The Kretek team’s professionalism is unparalleled and has made this project a joy for our team. This entry into the synergy program is truly beyond cool!”
