Illusione cigars were designed to recreate the classic taste of pre-Sandinista Nicaraguan cigars. First generation Corojo '99, Criollo '98, are wrapped in either grade one Cafe Colorado wrappers or Candela wrappers, grown in fertile fields that had once fallen into neglect. Many sizes and shapes are available, all triple-capped, and each has a unique story to tell. In fact, if ANY brand demonstrates how shape informs taste and aroma, it's Illusione. This is absolutely a must-try cigar.
TOO much hype, not enough quality control! Not worth $200 a box!
tasted just like conuco but costs a lot more! nice cold draw taste and what seemed like good construction but upon lighting ,which took a bit,it would not burn well for the rest of the cigar.the ash fell off in chunks showing some irregular bunching and the taste was not eventful.certainly not worthy of all the bally-hoo.this is why prices are getting a little out of control.sure there have been improvements and innovations but how many ways can one blend and roll the same tabacco that's been around for forever?
