Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Corona premium cigars are flawlessly handcrafted with a flavorful Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that caps a robust, yet velvety-smooth blend of Dominican & Nicaraguan longfillers for one of the most memorable smokes ever. This shape is a great way to try 'em on, too.
I am returning to cigar smoking after about 8 years and have been rediscovering many cigars by trying samplers. This corona is really a wonderful smoke. A little tight the first couple of draws, but it relaxed nicely and the burn was great. The construction was solid and pleasing to the eye, and for me the toasty flavor won me over. Safe to say that this is my new favorite!
I love smoking these cigars with something sweet like brandy or even a good wine. My wife loved the aroma so much she now insists on joining me whenever I light up. She loves these cigars as much as I do now. Can't beat the taste and aroma!
I was pleased with this cigar over all. Very well built. However it was just too mild for me. It had a VERY smoothe finish, and a SLIGHTLY creamy, almond flavor. Again I say SLIGHTLY. The cigar is just so mild that you really have to concentrate to know that you are smoking it at all.
I could only wish these were a bit better in quality. When they draw properly, this is a good cigar-flavor and burn were very good, however 6 of the box had terrible draw, much too tight. I think with the price of cigars these days, a person should not have to discard that many cigars from a box, and I do discard them. Having to muck about trying to get a cigar to draw is not something which should have to be done! Draw, consistency and construction are relatively one in the same are they not?
