Released years after its name suggests, the Cojonu 2015 finally arrived as a regular-production powerhouse from My Father in Estelí, rolled with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Full-bodied and ballsy in the best way, it opens on black pepper, spice, and wood, then lets flashes of coffee and pomegranate-like sweetness sneak into the finish to keep all that strength from feeling one-note.
