Muestra de Saka cigars are the crème de la crème from Steve Saka's Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust imprint. "Muestras are hoarded and coveted by not only their makers, but by the cigar smokers who seek to catch a glimpse into the cigarmaker’s soul within their smoke," says Steve. "Muestra de Saka is just that. A line of unique blends and vitolas made in extremely limited quantities that reflect the blending machinations of myself."
Although more vitolas are in the works, the leader is the Muestra de Saka "Exclusivo," a 6" x 52 Toro presented in a box of 7 individual coffins. As for the blend, Mr. Saka did not divulge any specifics other than to say that the Exclusivo includes tobaccos from four of Nicaragua's most popular growing regions: Condega, Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe. That said, the wrappers alone are exquisite and have a stunning bouquet all their own.
Expect a chewy, complex, medium-full smoke rife with dark, earthy Nicaraguan flavors including spice, light pepper, some breadiness, sweet tobacco, and citrus notes with a redolent aroma. Your palate may vary, but Muestra de Saka is a true luxury-class cigar which, by comparison, is more affordable than many other so-called, "luxury cigars."

Back in the day when they were so tasty, one didn t know whether to smoke or eat them circa 1989 . A truly fine cigar. Well made, easy draw, but definitely a long-lasting smoke. Smoked it right down to finger-burn territory and was sorry to put it down. So glad I have six more!
Not really a huge fan of lanceros but I do occasionally smoke a few. And only few that I ve smoked was #BoxWorthy.Braddah Steve Saka s #NLMTHA is definitely is in that category.
Excellent but too expensive. Would prefer less expensive packaging to yield a discount. Expect most serious cigar folks would agree as we all own good humidors
The 48 ring is perfect. Rich flavors of espresso, chocolate, leathers and woods. Excellent draws. Best cigar i have had so far this year.
