Taking its name from the Spanish word for "the opulent," My Father La Opulencia cigars are indeed a case of truth in advertising. The Garcia family has revived this old Cuban trademark, La Opulencia, which is being described as the point where the profile of Le Bijou 1922 crosses paths with the original My Father cigar. The recipe: Nicaraguan Cuban-seed long fillers, two Nicaraguan binders (Corojo and Criollo) and a chocolatey-brown Mexican Rosado Oscuro wrapper that's new to Pepin's bag of tricks; the tobaccos are all cultivated on the Garcia family farms. The experience: expect the requisite My Father pepper, balanced this time by nuanced hints of earth, cocoa and wood - all in a rich-smoking, box-pressed format. A proud addition to the My Father lineup, and worth it to add to today's order. Add to cart now!

Excellent draw and burn. Very tasty. Strength is between the regular My Father and the Le Bijou petite robusto. A great short smoke.
What can I say - It is Don Pepin Garcia !!!!

Nice smooth creamy, nutty full favor.
This is my favourite My Father cigar blend so far. I had high expectations and they were all met. A well constructed, box pressed cigar with a blend that is creamy from light up to the final nub. The taste of leather exists throughout and makes me look forward to the next one.
Fantastic smoke! Great taste and burn - no wonder it was high on cigar of the year list in Cigar Oficionado list of best cigars
Initial review, got a 5pk and couldn t wait.Impatience rewarded. This is a dessert stick despite the small size.Fruity,earthy,leather.Burn perfect/no babysitting or touchups.Slow consistent burn tothe nub,I like to draw aroundevery 2 minutes if possible.Flavors and strength intensifyfinal third.Well spent here.
This is checking all of the boxes for me: flavor, construction, complexity, burn quality. I can t wait to see what some time in the humidor does for them
Obviously, I purchased these cigars because of what a high profile magazine had to say about them and how highly they ranked them #2 in the world for 2019 . However, they actually exceeded my expectation. The draw was effortless, the construction solid, the burn flawless, the appearance dazzling, and the laste amazing for a medium bodied cigar. I am trying to figure out a way to afford another box before they sell out.
