Chief Evangelist of Southern Draw Cigars, Robert Holt, made a simple offer in the beginning of 2020. He asked cigar retailers to take a chance and purchase a cigar blend without any details ahead of release – other than the fact that is was being nmade at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez, we didn't even have a name. Famous was one of only 10 retailers to take the plunge. The name means “little apple,” Robert's nod to the obvious dark reddish hue of the cigar’s Habano Hybrid wrapper.
