Inspired by Germany's legendary Black Forest of folk lore and fairy tales, Villiger Cuellar Black Forest cigars were released as a line extension to the popular Villiger Cuellar Connecticut Krēmē selection. Blended by Jochy Blanco and handcrafted at his Tabacalera Palma factory, the four vitola line boasts a rich, oily, and flavorful Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper that caps a medium-full blend of Dominican binder and filler tobaccos.
"Cuellar Black Forest marries Caribbean artisan tobacco craftmanship with German/Swiss folklore, culture, and mysticism," said Villiger Cigars founder, Heinrich Villiger. "Both our passion for tobacco and the Villiger culture are represented in this cigar."
Heinrich (who grew-up near the Black Forest), and Jochy describe Cuellar Black Forest as having "deeply rich flavors, with a distinctively sweet finish that sets it apart from other blends. "The smoke is most certainly full-flavored and well-balanced with notes of earth, cedar, and plenty of sweet spice coming from the wrapper.
