The Hamlet Liberation cigar by Rocky Patel represents the third cigar release for world-renowned cigar roller, Hamlet Paredes.
"At all my events, I roll all my cigars free hand," says Hamlet. "No molds. So for this new brand, I wanted to create something different, something liberating. Naturally, we decided to call it Liberation."
Liberation is a handsome, one-size only, 6½"x 55 figurado that showcases a uniquely tapered head with an unfinished shaggy foot. Rolled in a pristine Ecuador-grown Habano wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and a Nicaraguan-Honduran long filler core, Liberation issues a medium-full smoke with notes of earth and roasted coffee. Cigar Snob magazine even awarded it an impressive '91' rating.
A must-try for cigar smokers who've been following Hamlet's artistry, as well as those who want a well-balanced and refined cigar that liberates the senses. Be sure to add some Hamlet Liberation cigars to your super-premium cigar collection.
I d never tried a cigar with shaggy foot before, and what amazed me about it was how well the binder kept the burn as I began smoking into the wrapper. It kept a razor-sharp burn line that had me staring at it between pulls. As for the flavor, starting at the foot, the taste was mellow, earthy, and a bit smokey. Once I got to the wrapper, I started tasting notes of coffee, a subtle hint of florals, and sweet spice while still keeping that earthy base. Another delicious & dynamic cigar from Rocky Patel & Hamlet Paredes
